I just knew that Microsoft has launched new Web Base Windows Live Messenger. As we already knew, Microsoft decided to closed down their web base WLM Service. But right know, their branch in Singapore, yes, Microsoft Singapore recently release the version of Web Base Client for Windows Live Messenger aka MSN Messenger.

Just try to use it http://webim.live.sg/ by using your web browser and Windows Live Account to make a chat with your friends. It’s not affiliate with hotmail email service, it is independent web application.

It seems that this new WLM web client officially released only for Users in Singapore.

Microsoft has decided to retired MSN / WLM Web Messenger on June 30th 2009. Therefore if you visit to webmessenger.msn.com you’ll only see a notification that Windows Live Messenger / MSN Web Messenger on the web has moved.

Windows Live Messenger on the web has moved!
Messenger is really about people – so the web version is now built into Hotmail and the rest of Windows Live. Go to http://people.live.com to see who’s online.
You can also see if your friends are online just by glancing at your inbox. You can turn e-mails into IM conversations, too.
To sign in to Messenger on the web, go to Hotmail or http://people.live.com and look for Messenger in the action bar

If you want to use your web browser to login in WLM or MSN Messenger, you can try to use Windows Live on Hotmail, or you can also try Web Messenger for MSN unofficially, such as MessengerFX

For some reason that said the author of the Soashable, it said, that the creator didn’t have much time to make maintenance to run soashable – social web base messenger (if you ever try to use it, it’s almost like meebo). Soashable is Open Source Project. Formerly you can try the demo at www.soashable.com but right now it no longer available. Hope, the author would rise this beautiful Web Messenger Client in the future. Let pray for that.
