If you looking for Instant Messenger for Mac and wanna try something new about Chat Client works under Mac OS X you can try the IM client / service called as Blink. You can use common IM features such as File Transfer (base on SIP SIMPLE standards), Emoticons, contact list and many more.

VoIP also available in blink (RTP audio sessions), multi party cha session (using MSRP PRotocol and also desktop sharing using VNC protocol), and many others features. Blink only available for MacOSX at this time, but it seem the client for Windows and Linux users would be released soon.
