JAJC  is ICQ-like Jabber client that designed to run in  any Windows environment. It’s open source instant messaging application which is built on top of XML.

This JAJC (Just Another Jabber Clients) have the capability to communicate with users of other instant messaging systems like AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, MSN, etc,  as well as other communication systems like IRC. No matter you are using Yahoo Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger, ICQ, Windows Live Messenger or IRC, you can still used this Jabber Chat Client (Including Google Talk).

In this JAJC you can get features like Sending and receiving messages, Unicode in messages, Chat, Conferencing, User search, Blacklist, File transfers, Avatars, PGP support (PGP v6.5.x – v9.x)Native IMs icons, Bookmarks, Smiles and URL detection in messages, chats and conferences, Jabber browsing, Proxy support (S4, S4a, S5 & HTTP), Custom presences, Notification’s popups, SSL support and NTLM login.

Gaim for UNIX

Gaim is a multi-protocol IM client for Linux/UNIX, BSD, MacOS X, and Windows. Gaim users can log in to multiple accounts on multiple IM networks simultaneously. We can be chatting with our friends on AOL, Yahoo and IRC client at the same time.

Gaim is compatible with AIM (Oscar and TOC protocols), ICQ, MSN Messenger, Yahoo, IRC, Jabber, Gadu-Gadu, and Zephyr networks.

Even though this only in “tester mode” you can actually hope that the official final release of Google Talk that has an “INVISIBLE STATUS” would be available really soon. But right now, you can actually use invisible status in google talk if you download and used the labs edition of google talk (GTalk)
