Yafumato

Yafumato is a completely cross-platform application,  the server code is implemented entirely in Java, and a dynamic user interface is provided using AJAX technologies. This Yafumato Web Messenger is a Web-based instant messenger client which allows you to connect to supported messengers (AIM, GoogleTalk, MSN, and YahooMessenger) using only a Web browser via HTTP (or HTTPS).

The Yafumato server connects to the messengers by proxy and provides the Web interface to the user, allowing instant messaging from computers where a desktop client cannot be used. Yafumato Web Messenger is currently alpha software; as such, it has minimal error handling and is not feature complete.

What’s New in This Release:· The database is now an optional package; users can now login using messenger credentials rather than single sign-on using the database.· Messenger session handling has been improved; any active messenger sessions are restored upon signin.· Unstable messenger sessions can be disconnected and replaced using the new “Reset Messenger” link on the status page.

Parley.im Beta is considered as a convenient and efficient chat client with lots of features including Invisible / Away mode, Instant notifications. It’s also has a birthday calendar and a photo browser / downloader. Through this Parley.im  you can chat with all your contacts without needing access to social networking page.

After installing the application, create a quick registration, setting a user, a contact email and a password. Then link that record with your Facebook account. With your account created in Parley.im, just enter to start chatting with your friends. The operation of it is very similar to any other messenger, simply call your contact and talk. In the list, you can view (as well as on Facebook) who is online and available to chat. You can also set your own status, choosing between “Online”, “Away / Busy” (busy) or “Invisible” (invisible).

The Calendar allows you view the events and anniversaries that happen in the month. To create some new “event”, just press the desired date and describe it. Photo Viewing feature let you view photo just by simply click “View Photos” and select the album to see the images, all much like the organizers of photos, like Picasa. You can even download the album by clicking the “Download Photos. ”
