Multiple Instances Windows Live Messenger With Registry Tweak Trick

To create Polygamy ID aka Multi ID aka Multiple Instances of Windows Live Messenger by tweaking Registry Edit, just follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Registry editor (I believe you already know how to do this)
  2. Open the folder in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Live
  3. Choose Messenger Folder and right click on it

    4. Dword Windows Live Messenger Multi Instance ID

  4. Then create a new DWORD (32 bit) Value name on value name it as MultipleInstances.
  5. Fill it value data = 1 and choose on base as hexadecimal

    6. value data wlm polygamy id

  6. Click OK

Done and you are ready to open Windows Live Messenger as many as you like and login with multiple ID you have of WLM or MSN Messenger.
