If you already read my article discussing how to find someone else IP address in Yahoo Messenger, you might knew that the ways we can acquire and get Internet Protocol via Instant Messenger / Chat Service is almost the same way.

Today, I like to share with you How to Find Someone Else IP address via Windows Live Messenger. Just like what I have said above, the step per step to find IP address from WLM are same with YM.

How to Find Someone Else IP Address through Windows Live Messenger?

First, build Peer to Peer connection. This means you have built direct connection with the target / ID /user that you want to know his/her IP address. How to built P2P or Peer to Peer? Just sent them a file through IM of Windows Live Messenger or sent them a webcam. Webcam and File Transfer would make a direct connection to the other. This would make you able to see their IP only using simple command prompt window.

Go to the command prompt by click Run >> cmd or Start >> All Programs >> Accessories >> Command Prompt. Then in the command prompt window type the cmd command: netstat -a or netstat -n. Within a second you’ll see all connection list with it port in your window command prompt. Find the address of Internet Protocol of the users that you wanna know by separate the port that been used.

Now the IP of friends would appears and you can do what ever you want. Enjoy!
